Knitline Apparels To Set Up New Sustainable Knitwear Facility

Knitline Apparels (Pvt) Ltd (Sri Lanka) will establish a new knitwear manufacturing facility. The high-tech garment factory will specialize in making flat knits, including pullovers, dresses, sweaters and accessories.

 

Knitline Apparels aims to create a truly sustainable system with zero inventory loss, zero leftovers, and zero waste.

 

The company is planning to use computerized knitting machines developed by Shima Seiki in Japan to manufacture its products. The 12,000 square foot factory will be located in Wattala, Sri Lanka.
